One-on-One Zoom / Online Tutoring in Antioch & East Bay, California

At ReadWise with Patti, our approach to one-on-one zoom / online tutoring is rooted in the gold standard of reading science. For individuals with dyslexia or language-based learning differences, conventional phonics instruction often leaves massive gaps. Our systematic Orton-Gillingham methods make the abstract structures of the English language concrete, visual, and tactile.

Each session is custom-tailored to your student's unique diagnostic profile. We move at the speed of the learner—never rushing ahead before mastery is established, but never holding back a student who is ready to accelerate. Patti utilizes proven multisensory manipulatives, color-coded letter tiles, and controlled decodable literature that builds genuine fluency without relying on guessing or picture clues.

With over 30 years of classroom teaching experience in California public and private education, Patti understands the emotional fatigue that struggling readers face each day in school. Beyond academic gains, our primary goal is restoring your child's self-esteem, showing them that their brain is capable of incredible brilliance when taught the way they learn best.
